Miss Lee
After 12 years of teaching with Tindle’s Miss Lee has decided that she would like to work for herself. She feels that it is now or never and she does not want to regret not giving herself the chance to run her own business. We wish her the best of luck.

As Miss Lee ran most of the festival work some students are under the impression that if Miss Lee is not teaching them they are not allowed to perform their dances. This is not the case at all. We have, over the 21years we have been running, employed many different choreographers to put competition dances together for us – some of these being professional dancers who came to Tindle’s for a few days and their dances went on for years!
At Tindle’s we have no objection to any student taking on extra specialised coaching by a teacher outside of Tindle’s staff. It has always been our policy to encourage children to attend coaching at schools such as Tring Park Arts Educational School, and have specialised singing and ballet coaching with private teachers as they prepare for auditions and exams. We also have students who travel to specialist choreographers for National Dances etc. We do have a proviso that the student remains a Tindle’s student and all exams and competitions are entered through Tindle’s.
As far as Miss Lee’s teaching is concerned this policy means that we have no objection to any student having private lessons with Miss Lee provided that they remain a Tindle’s student.
Miss Lee has agreed to work with the four Grade 6 Tap exam candidates up until their exam on October 8th
We are looking for a teacher to replace Miss Lee and in the meantime classes previously taught by Miss Lee will be shared between our existing fantastic teachers. However this does require a change in timetable as however fantastic the teachers are they are not able to teach two classes at the same time! This new timetable will run from Wednesday September 17th. Please pick up a printed copy from Tina or Claire or download from the website. (Although we are not at Moira at the moment we will call this timetable “Moira” so as not to confuse with Monday and Wednesday classes at Melbourne).
We will keep you posted on any news regarding a new teacher, until then any students requiring private lessons who are not able or do not wish to travel to Miss Lee may liaise with Tina and Claire to find a suitable time with Miss Marian or Miss Kristy
Thank you for your continued support during this time of transition – we really appreciate your co-operation during these times of change.
THANK YOU!
Croydon Timetable, Half Term Dates
